Craftsmen from both countries harmonized into building and restoring one of the most beautiful and historic wooden vessels in the Caribbean Sea. She was built in 1920 and lovingly restored during the period 1985-1990. Thousands of man hours went into the rebuilding and rebirth of the Winnie. When she first sailed it was to engage in the oyster trade plying the cold, gray waters of the Chesapeake. Was until recently used as a tour boat for snorkel trips, day cruises, sunset cruises and dinners, multi-day cruising and camping charters also occasionally done.
